Question of the Week
Can You Recall a Time in Your Life Where You Were Not Reading?
Actually no. My mother says I loved books as a kid. The first books I ever remember reading was the Clearwater Crossing Series by Laura Peyton Roberts. From then on, I was always at the bookstore or the library. Of course, my parents preferred the library over the book store because once I started reading, my reading speed just keep climbing. Book just seem.. right. I honestly freak out whenever I start to run low on paperback/hardback books in the house. Yes, I have my kindle and things like that - which books never run low on! - but nothing beats the feel and smell of an actual book!

My love affair with reading and books started when I was very little as well. I agree that nothing beats the feel and smell of a real book!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't! There is just something about the actual book in your hand! Thanks for stopping in!

ReplyDeleteGreat answer, Punkiee! I was the very same way, as you know from my own answer. I've always had a love for books and reading, and I do prefer printed books, as well. Ebooks are indeed convenient, but nothing beats a physical book!
I don't have the problem of running out of things to read, because I have SO many books that I haven't gotten to yet..... I want to make some inroads into my TBR list this year for sure!
Thanks for your thoughts, and thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment on my own BBH post!! : )
Printed books will always be my favorite. While I love the deals that the Kindle books give sometimes and the fact that I use Kindle Unlimited - nothing will ever compare to the actual novel. Most of the time, if I have a book on kindle - I have it in paperback/hardback as well.
DeleteThanks for stopping in! :)
I love printed books but I do read mostly on my tablet. Makes it so much easier to purchase I a book. No more waiting I have it right than and there.

Printed are awesome! I agree the purchasing is easier on the e-readers though!
