Harry Potter motw: #1

This is a meme Uncorked Thoughts decided to give a try. The aim of this meme is to share with fellow bloggers a character, spell, chapter, object, quote etc. from the books/ films/ J. K. Question of the Week
Favorite Hagrid Moment?
Oh man.. This one is kind of hard. Hagrid is one of my favorite characters! One of the moments that sticks out in my mind the most is Hagrid and the baby dragon egg! I love how Hagrid is so in love with the magical creatures and really cares for them. This is something he has wanted his entire life & he didn't even think twice on the circumstances of HOW he came about this baby dragon egg. He even names him Norbert when he hatches! It's like watching a daddy when his baby is born. It was really heart warming!

    I just love Hagrid to bits and his love for animals is one of the best things about him^^ He was so sweet with that baby dragon and it broke my heart that he wasn't able to keep him - I hope he got another shot at being a dragon-mom at some point LOL! Awesome pick and thanks for participating this week :)

    I love hangrid. Even when he gave away the clue for fluffy in exchange for a dragon. But hey, who wouldn't want a dragon?

      YES! He didn't know he was willingly giving it to someone bad! I mean who hasn't rambled off a bunch of stuff they shouldn't when drinking lol

    I've always loved dragons so this part hit home how much I'd be like Hagrid and want one and then the flip side of what a terrible idea it would be LOL. I agree, he truly cares about animals and it's so easy to see it. I loved watching him bond with Norbert :D
